"That Really Makes Me Mad" --- Anger...And How We Deal

A gentle word turns away wrath

but a harsh word stirs up anger. 

Proverbs 15:1

Being angry is stupid. Let's face it, anger is pretty much a wasted emotion. It gets us nowhere fast and tends to make situations go from bad to worse in a heart beat. Anger is a problem for most people, the degree of the problem varies from person to person. Words said in anger are cutting to the bone and devastating for those whom they are directed at. Anger breeds anger...there is no way on this earth that being angry with someone will make that someone feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 

This week think before you speak...better yet pray before you speak. Ask the Lord to guide you and speak through you...instead of you taking the reins and letting loose with the harsh words. You may be very surprised at how things turn out.
